It contains all 8 episodes from the first series of the hugely successful Childrens' BBC television series - Fireman Sam - which were previously released on two fantastic single video releases - Fireman Sam: The Hero Next Door (BBCV 4101) and Fireman Sam 2: Lost Cat (BBCV 4137) - now released all together on one single video tape.

The pictures of Fireman Sam: The Hero Next Door (BBCV 4101) and Fireman Sam 2: Lost Cat (BBCV 4137), which appear on the cover, are both taken from their original 1988 releases, although the content of all eight episodes on this Fireman Sam video release are taken from their original televised broadcasts.
This is the first of three Fireman Sam video releases to contain the Bumper Films ident and S4C copyright stamp at the end of each episode.
