Teletubbies: Uh-Oh! Messes & Muddles (1998) is a UK VHS release by BBC Worldwide Ltd on 12th October 1998 and it got re-released on DVD by BBC Worldwide on 12th September 2005. This is the 5th special in Teletubbies home media releases.

Description

Oh no! Watch tubby toast, tubby custard, a ball of string and a cloud indoors turn into the most wonderful messes and muddles in Teletubbyland. Sometimes Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po make the messes and muddles. Sometimes the tubby machines misbehave. But the Noo-noo always tidies up in the end. And when the windmill turns, the Teletubbies can watch children in the real world enjoying messes and muddles - just like ourselves!

Synopsis

The Teletubbies get a very messy day. They all leave their Tubby Beds in a mess, Tinky Winky and Dipsy make a mess at the Tubby Custard Machine and Laa-Laa and Po make a mess with the Tubby Toast at the Tubby Table. So Noo-Noo tidies up. The Teletubbies love the Noo-Noo. The Teletubbies make a Twisty Dance. Then, the Magic Windmill spins and the Teletubbies watch some children painting with their hands and feet before the sun crescendo screams.

A ball of string appears in Teletubbyland. Po accidentally knocks the string into the air with her scooter and it makes a stringy mess all over Teletubbyland, but clever Noo-Noo tidies up. It's time for tubby custard, but Dipsy spills his Tubby Custard all over his tubby seat. No one wants to sit in the tubby custard, so Noo Noo tidies it up. Then the Magic Windmill spins and the Teletubbies watch some children mix water, paint and washing-up liquid to make bubble pictures before the sun giggles.

The Teletubbies watch the clouds float by. Suddenly, a little puffy cloud floats inside the Home Hill! The Teletubbies rush inside to see that pieces of the cloud have spread out all over the house. Then it's time for Tubby Custard but the Teletubbies find it rather inconvenient getting a cloud indoors. A piece of the cloud gets stuck on Laa-Laa's foot and she accidentally spills her Tubby Custard. Then the Noo-Noo comes to tidy up the custard and cloud. But all that custard and all that cloud gets very mixed up inside the Noo-Noo. He goes over to the doors and blows the little puffy cloud outside. The cloud has turned into a Special Pink Tubby Custard Cloud! The Teletubbies wave goodbye to the cloud then the Magic Windmill spins and the Teletubbies watch the Singing Man in the Pink House before the Magic Windmill stops spinning and it’s time for Tubby Bye-Bye.

Trivia

In the scene Tubby Custard Cloud where the cloud floats away, it cuts straight to the windmill spinning for The Singing Man in the Pink House and this is the only VHS to end with a Magical Event and this is the last VHS to have a Magical Event until Magical Surprises.
